Hello, I am Lucienne, owner and lead clinician of Sleep Psychology Canberra. I am a Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in sleep issues and chronic illness. I completed my training at The University of Melbourne and The Australian National University.
I offer a warm and compassionate approach to therapy, and strive to provide a space where my clients feel safe to discuss their struggles, and learn more about themselves. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies, and integrate these flexibly to suit each individual client. I have training in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), schema therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals, and create meaningful change in their lives. I take a collaborative, client-focused approach to therapy.
I can provide both short- and long-term therapy, and have experience working with a wide range of populations. I am committed to providing a safe and inclusive service for people of all linguistic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, and the LGBTQIA+ community. You can read more about my special areas of interest below.
